In The Beginning...

During the knock-down process, the whole block was cleared, including the limited gardens.
Unfortunately a beautiful, old white frangipani had to make way for the new home. We took many cuttings of the tree, and donated these to a charitable organisation: the tree now lives on across south-western Sydney.
Ironically, our own cuttings of the tree did not survive.
