Stars of the Garden

Summer has brought a bounty to the garden. Our seedling starfruit tree produced its first beautiful, pink and white flowers in late January and through February. These have grown along the trunk and stems, providing an excellent display.

During March the tiny fruit began to develop. We took the precaution to protect our fledgling crop from fruit-fly attack by placing a Cera Trap within the tree. So far so good...

At this time the tree is holding about thirty young starfruit. With some luck we look forward to refreshing starfruit juice drinks.
