Leaf-Eater or Meat-Eater?

My reading suggests that katydids are normally leaf-eating insects. However, this photo suggests that the katydid is preying upon a hapless moth.

So, is it the moth, or the succulent leaves and flowers of the chilli plant which have attracted the katydid to our garden?
