Star Recipe

As we continue to harvest our first-time crop of star-fruits, we have been able to experiment with ingredients and flavours, our last effort being our best.

Be prepared to vary the quantities of the ingredients to suit your taste and the sweetness of the fruit... Our current fruit are late-autumn harvest, so lack the sweetness of summer fruit. Perhaps you can balance the sweetness of the sugar with a little lime juice. Give it a try!

You will need...

• 1 large star fruit
• 1 cup water & 1 cup ice
• white or raw sugar, 2 teaspoons or more, depending upon the sweetness of the fruit

1.    Roughly chop your star-fruit

2.    Add star fruit, ice and water into blender and liquidise.

3.    Add sugar and quickly blend again to mix.
